Loved, loved, loved, the backpack. I bought it for my 5 year old as a carry-on on the plane for vacation. Jansport in stores close to me, I have compromised and purchased different (not cheap!) popular sports brand backpacks. Last year I spent $55 on a backpack that ripped halfway through the school year. This year I swore to go back to Jansport because you just can't beat them. My daughter is in her second year of college and she is still using one of the Jansports I bought her in middle school. I've been wanting a cute black faux leather bag with cute handles and a cross-body strap. I had this perfect image in my head and almost gave up on my search until I found this one! It's not as big as it looks in the images; it certainly wouldn't hold a regular sized laptop. I had my magazine in there the other day and the top of it peeked out a little bit. Everyone keeps asking me if it's leather, so the faux leather is really good quality! Sure, it's Volcom and I'm a working 25 year old, but it's basically impossible to tell that it's a tween brand. I wish the inside had at least one more pocket (there's just one zipper pocket), but that's okay, I'll live with it! It is such an adorable bag, I know I'm going to completely wear it out!

I was suprised to find the Volcom Full Stone 2F Cloth Wallet. It was everything I wanted. It was a bit expensive, but it has a nice kind of worn look to it with frayed stitching, and seems to be durable enough. I spent a long time looking for the perfect everyday bag and this one was it for me. It looks small, but it's roomy enough inside to carry an umbrella, a bottle of water, a book, and a packed lunch. There is a wide variety of different sized storage pockets inside so you can quickly find small items like Kleenex, lipstick, cell phone, and gum. It is lightweight, and versatile, sporty enough for the gym or sophisticated enough for the boardroom. The only thing I would change about this bag is the black interior lining. I would have chosen brighter color or pattern to help make it easier to find things in low light situations. Other than that, it's pretty darn perfect.

I received the bag and loved the look of it. It had all the right pockets with easy access into the bag without all the fussy zippers. The only problem I had with it was the thickness of the leather, it was very thin and I figured I would quickly make the bag look old the way I use my bags. I needed something a bit more sturdy and that could withstand a lot of use from car, to playing fields watching my kids games, to the beach on the sand, to shopping, to the gym and so on. Nice bag for someone who switches out bags often and doesn't use them for everything as I do. Had to send it back; too much money for it to be such thin leather. Wish it would have been like their boot hide, now that would of been sweet!

I really enjoy the look and fabric of this back pack. I have a 15" laptop and it just barely fits into the slot provided for computer toting purposes. I assumed there would be plenty of room based on the dimensions provided. However, there is a velcro latch for the inside laptop compartment and my laptop is too big for the latch, but there is plenty of room inside of the bag overall. This also means that the side zipper isn't quite long enough for me to have easy access either. That is my main issue with the bag. My praise is the drawstring closure with magnetic button closures as well. I love the front compartment. This bag has a sturdy build and I can tell it will last me a long time to come without zippers breaking and seams falling apart.

I purchased this bag to use as a discreet camera bag while traveling. The inside part is big enough for my DSLR body with one lens (18-200mm) attached to the camera body. The front pouch has a zippered compartment with hook for keys. This is the area where I put what I normally carry in my purse. There's also a zippered section, the length of the bag, on the back of the bag, where I put my extra battery and memory cards. I carried this bag for days before discovering the two water bottle compartments, one at each end. The strap holds well, no slipping. The weight of the bag itself is light. With all my gear though, I want to add a padded shoulder strap.

I purchased a laptop backpack for my daughter in August at a major store. It started to fall apart after a week and was uncomfortable. She liked her friend's Dakine backpack and tried in on. I needed a bigger backpack for all of the stuff I lug back-and-forth from graduate school and this seemed like a good option. I love the sleeve for my laptop so I can leave my bulky laptop cover at home; it slides right in and out easily and there's still plenty of room for books, etc. There are also lots of compartments so you can bring along the little office supplies that a "mobile office" should have. The bag distributes weight well so if you're worried about hurting your neck and shoulders, this bag will work for you. My only criticism is that it is a little busy and has a lot of straps that get in the way. I've thought about cutting them off, but it would look a little strange. I guess this is technically a skateboarding bag (who skateboards any more?) so that's a drawback. It's not a big deal, though.

I love this bag. I've had mine for a year and the straps are starting to wear, but I'm considering buying the same purse again. This is a very functional bag. I have a pocket for my personal cell and one for work PDA. I can also fit a baby bottle in the end pockets.
